Struggling to understand Richelieu I got Richi yesterday (first tier 8) and I've been playing it since, trying to get the hang of it. Pretty much every other ship in the line I've clicked with pretty quickly but Richelieu has kinda thrown into doubt whether the French BB line is for me, considering Alsace seems very similar.

Question. I absolutely loved the richelieu, i know it's not the best but i felt really comfortable having all the gun facing forward and somehow i performed really good with it. Probably it's the ship i overall had the best time and performances. I want something similar, but apart the french BC line the borodino it's the only choiche.

Posted April 15, 2020 You are assigning an efficiency to the German 105mm that isn't true. Both in RPC and accuracy over time via the director as explained in Friedman's naval aa book. Both ships initially had poor 37mm aa guns. Quote Note the triaxial mounting in the picture below.

What does Richelieu do well? My answer is "gets into trouble faster than her guns can cope with it". Am I missing some strong point?
